The Seattle Kraken had a really poor road performance in Tuesday's matchup, falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 4-1. For Seattle, Eeli Tolvanen flashed some quick bright lights, scoring the only goal for the team, but the Kraken struggled to keep up with the intense pace of the Maple Leafs.

Auston Matthews gave Toronto early breathing room, finding the back of the net to set the tone of the evening. The Maple Leafs continued to flex their muscles as Matthew Knies and a couple from William Nylander rounded out the scoring for the home side, displaying much of his offensive skills throughout the game. Nylander's second came at a very critical juncture and just about sealed it for Toronto.

Despite the effort from Seattle, the Kraken weren't able to sustain much pressure - especially against a stout Maple Leafs defense. The team was not good at maintaining puck possession, allowing Toronto to take over the pace of the game. Per post-game statistics, the Kraken were outshot with subpar capitalization of scoring chances - an issue that has bitten them in games as of late.

Kraken defense was highly tested, as goalie Joey Daccord made some good saves, however he could not hold the pressure of the Leafs' offense. Seattle will have to reassemble and revisit their strategy for defense in the next game.

This loss puts the Kraken in increasing pressure going into the rest of the season. The fans will be hoping for a comeback in the up-coming games when the team tries to find its feet and momentum.
